This week marks Neurodiversity Week! A week-long celebration that’s all about raising awareness and challenging the stigma around neurodiversity.
Today we, alongside AutismAble’s EmployAbility group, had the pleasure of taking part in the Home Group’s neurodiversity week celebrations.
Bryn, Gemma and Alex were on hand to serve up some delicious vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free cakes, as well as Sea Change Wine and local craft beer.
The team did a brilliant job educating their workers about neurodiversity and what Sea Change and Works of Art are doing to help address the shockingly high unemployment rate amongst adults with learning disabilities (which is at around 95% in the UK).
