Sea What We Served Up This September…

We’ve got so much to share with you this month – from new openings and menus to events and celebrating inclusion. Let’s dive in…

WEAR Launches This Saturday!

If you read our last newsletter, you’ll know we’ve been working on something exciting in Sunderland… and the wait is almost over!

This Saturday (4th October), we’re launching a brand new Sea Change café bar inside WEAR – a new clothing store bringing rare, iconic and designer fashion to Vine Place.

Doors open at 10am, and you’re invited! Pop in, say hello, grab a free coffee or drink, and leave freshly caffeinated – and maybe even better dressed!

Training Café Tuesdays Are Back

We’re delighted to share that our South Shields café is now open on Tuesdays again to give our trainees time to shine!

From 10am – 12pm, pop in for fresh bakes and coffee, then stick around for a smaller menu 12 – 3pm while our team perfects their skills.

From warm scones to teacakes (and maybe even a surprise cake or two) – just ask what’s fresh from the oven!

Sea Change on the BBC

This month, we had the incredible opportunity to be featured on BBC News again, speaking up about the impact of cuts to Access to Work.

Like so many organisations, we’re feeling the strain – but it’s our amazing community that keeps Sea Change going.

Cosy Up With Our New Autumn Menu

Autumn has arrived at Sea Change (and we couldn’t be happier about it!).

Think cosy afternoons, a hot chai in hand, and a warming, nourishing vegetable curry in front of you. Pop in and give it a try!

Celebrating Inclusion Together

This month, we joined our partner AutismAble to celebrate National Inclusion Week with the lovely team at Gentoo.

Sarah and Lexie delivered two ‘Introduction to Neurodiversity in the Workplace’ training sessions – and it was so inspiring to see how engaged, open, and enthusiastic everyone was!
