Lexie has been part of Sea Change since we opened our doors in 2019. She started as a volunteer and became a paid team member in May 2024 through Access to Work. As someone who’s neurodivergent herself, Lexie brings lots of lived experience, insight, and real passion to everything she does.
She didn’t follow a traditional education path, so working at Sea Change is something she once thought wouldn’t be possible. That’s why she’s so dedicated to creating opportunities and promoting inclusion for others.
Lexie was the driving force behind our Sea Change Training Programme and knows that supporting neurodivergent people means not only empowering individuals but also educating the professionals around them. That’s why she now helps plan and deliver our training – making sure it’s grounded in real life and genuinely inclusive.
We’re often told we need multiple Lexies, and we couldn’t agree more! Her unique perspective and honest, down-to-earth delivery helps professionals connect with the real experiences of the people they support.
